Comments for Heat WaveHeat Wave: 4/25/04We're having one of our typical April heat waves, although a little late in the month. We only have five days left in this month. I hope the late heat doesn't mean May will be hot too.Today Sean and I went to Frontier Park (I think that' what it's called) to play a little ball but as usual there was some big event going on there and it was HOT. The park may have a wonderful play ground which is what Sean opted for over playing ball but there is very little shade. Only the back section of the park has any trees. I know that ten months out of the year the lack of trees is a moot concern, but for those other two months, they are crucial. It must have been close to 100 degrees up there. We stayed for about an hour before coming home for lunch, juice and a nap. Sean managed to walk up and down the steps at the park all by himself -- a new accomplishment! Comments (0)
