Last night our FasTrak transponders finally arrived, a week late but sooner than I was expecting given the reported backlog. After the bridge tolls went up at the start of the month 511.org was flooded with new requests for transponders from drivers hoping to save a buck a trip for a while longer. Fortunately there's a 24 hour number for activating them so we could use our transponders this morrning. It felt strange not having to stop to pay.
