Christmas Cards: 11/5/04

The Christmas Cards arrived last night from the printer and they are beautiful. I think they're better than last year's card. Now I just need to write my newsletter to include in with the card and compile my list of addresses.

Mary Sue:

For any of you writers out there (whether for NaNoWriMo or not), there's the Mary Sue litmus test. It's basically a way to test your character against a rubric of cliches. I've run a few of my characters through it and most of them come out okay. One protagonist of mine is intentinally on the border of marysuedom so he scores fairly high. And he's well aware of his marysuedom and does everything he can to avoid it.
