Bill Paying Confusion: 06/17/05

This morning I was writing the checks to pay our bills. When I came to paying our HOA fees, I found last month's voucher still in the book. My inner voice was screaming: "But I remember paying that!" Briefly I gave into my inner panic and wrote out a check for two month's pay plus the late fee for last month. Finally though inner voice strangled inner panic and I stopped to looked at the carbon copies of last month's checks. Sure enough, I had paid the fee but I had forgotten to mail in the voucher with the check. Of course I should have also remembered that Ian is on the board and would have seen at last night's meeting if I had neglected to pay our fees last month.
