PhD Candidate: 06/03/05

Ian passed his qual exam today and it only took him 1 1/2 hours of his allotted three. He passed on two hours of sleep (due to stress). He's been studying all year though most of the studying been concentrated in the last five weeks. Sean and I are taking out to dinner tonight to celebrate. Of course Sean will be most excited not by Ian's good news but by the chance to ride the train (BART).
