Beth Pudding goes from being an unhappy Manhanttanite fish-out-of-water to finding happiness and belonging 600 years in the past. Her new and improved self reminded me too much of Angie from Gordon R. Dickson's Dragon-Knight series. As with so many time travel stories, it ends on a paradox. The last of the line becomes the beginning of the line. But in A Man in the Kilt this ending is too predictable and paved with too many cliches to make it a satisfactory Comments (0) |
