Hello Kitty, Hello Numbers! 09/22/07
Back in August Sean discovered Hello Kitty. So on a recent trip to Borders we brought home Hello Kitty, Hello Numbers! Sean likes the book because it focuses on counting, is about a birthday party and has the cute Hello Kitty characters. At the end of the book are flash cards that can be removed and used for study. We plan to glue an envelope in the back of the book for the cards but haven't done that yet. The book teaches counting from 1 to 20. Sean doesn't really need help counting those numbers any more. I think these counting books are more "comfort food" books for him. I have to agree that the illustrations are cute. I also like the story even as simple as it is. It emphasizes friendship and family. It's basically a very happy book. Comments (1) |
