On My Wishlist: November 12, 2011: 11/12/11

On My WishlistI finished The Mermaid's Mirror by L.K. Madigan, How to Party with a Killer Vampire by Penny Warner and Flood and Fire by Emily Diamand. If I keep plugging along at my current rate, I should finish The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan.

I am still reading Bloody Jack by L.A. Meyer and Schenectady by Don Rittner. Library books and homework have taken my attention away from it.

My wishlist is at 986 books, up 11 books from last week.

Upcoming wishlist reads include (they are in my hands waiting to be read):

  • The Book of Tomorrow by Cecilia Ahern
  • Of all the stupid things by Alexandra Diaz
  • The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
  • The Alchemyst by Michael Scott
  • Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
  • One amazing thing by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni
  • Penny Dreadful by Laurel Snyder
  • A Cat Named Squeeky: A True Story of a Stray Cat by Vic Reskovic

The Featured Wish for November 12, 2010:

cover artThe Sound of Colors: A Journey of the Imagination by Jimmy Liao

"A young woman losing her vision rides the subway with her dog in search of emotional healing."

GoodReads recommended it to me based on previous books I've. The reviews by other members are very positive and it sounds like an interesting picture book.

I agree on both counts. I hope I find a copy to read soon.

I think I'll do the same thing I did with Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series and wait until the rest of the books are out before I start reading them. Haha that way I don't have to wait in between them! I think I have a copy of The Alchemyst somewhere around here, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Rachel Hawkins's Hex Hall series are awesome. I recently finished book two and can't wait until book three is released! Great picks on your wishlist!

And I thought I did a good job finally finishing up the book I had been reading LOL. That's quite the growing list, mine grows everyday too. I hope you get to read them all soon :)

My wishlist is about two or three years worth of books depending on how quickly I can find and read them.

That new Goodreads recommendation feature is definitely killer on the TBR list.
