Just Like Bossy Bear: 01/03/14
Just Like Bossy Bear by David Horvath is the sequel to Bossy Bear. Bossy Bear likes to have his way. He's loud, rude, demanding and focused only on his own needs. He's somehow got a best friend, Turtle. Turtle soon begins acting like Bossy Bear. It's only then that Bossy Bear begins to realize that his way of doing things might not be the best way. Can Bossy Bear figure out a way to fix things before Turtle gets out of control? Of course, he can. It's okay as far as moralistic books go. Artistically, it's not one of my favorite styles but it might have appeal with children familiar with the Nickelodeon cartoons from the last decade or so. Two stars
