Halloween pumpkin

Halloween at the new place was a hit, even though we didn't have time to do much decorating. At least we had enough candy.

New bedroom furniture.

I've also jumped into NANOWRIMO this year. Because my email changed, I lost my old log in and had to create a new account. It's probably for the best as I never really liked my old user name. IF you want to buddy me, I'm pussreboots on there.

What I read:

Dorothy Must Die

Some cute looking books. All the best with reading and writing.

The reading is coming along at its usual pace. The writing is a fun distraction.

Good luck with NoNoWriMo. I liked the Shelby Holmes book. I had book 2 for review so I bought and read book 1 too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I reviewed the first Shelby Holmes book earlier this year. The short version is that I loved it. I'm looking forward to diving into the second one.

That is a pile of reading done to be done etc. Enjoy them all and have a good week.

As the year winds down I always find myself reading extra. Part of that is of course the CYBILS but part of it is also my own personality — my own desire to squeeze in as many books into the year as possible.

Glad you are settled in...and sometimes a new e-mail can feel like a great new start. Enjoy NaNoWriMo.

Enjoy those books...and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

For the most part I'm enjoying the new, shorter email address and URL, but there are times, like with Nanowrimo when I am frustrated by the change.

I've always been intrigued by Dorothy Must Die. I hope you enjoy reading this week.

My It's Monday! What Are You Reading? post.

Dorothy Must Die is interesting. If you saw Tin Man you'll see a very similar Oz. My husband likes both version but I'm starting to bristle at the idea that Oz must go in a dystopian direction to be relevant in modern fantasy.

Not The Killing Type looks good. I have to get back to reading that series. Hope you have a great week!

I'm about halfway through Mot the Killing Type and it's good.

I need to try Refugee. I am afraid, though, that it might be too preachy for me.

Refugee isn't preachy.

It's a busy week of reading but I do have other things to do too. I'm not always reading even if it sometimes seems like that.

wow! I see several books I want to add to my TBR list. I was going to join NANOWRIMO, but since my blog is new, I thought I'd concentrate on that and join in the writing fun next year.
