It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Hosted by Kathryn of Book Date.

The second week of school went well. While the kids were at school I finished a painting of a turkey vulture. Now I'm working on a juvenile Anna's hummingbird.

Hello Lighthouse looks good to me, and so does Death by Dumpling. I really need to read a cozy again, it's been a while.

Hello Lighthouse is good. I'm not far enough in Death by Dumpling to have an opinion yet.

Wow that painting is great!! I am looking forward to seeing the hummingbird!

The League of Beastly Dreadfuls looks fun!

Thanks. I'll post it when I'm finished. The Witch's Glass is good but you need to read the first two to understand it.

You have so many books that are new to me this week. Looks like I'm behind on the Shelby Holmes series. I need to catch up. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

The latest Shelby Holmes only just came out.

Dear Poppy looks really good about important topic for that age-range (well, for any age-range, actually) — possibly a good choice for my 13 and 15 year olds. And I'd like to see if I can get my hands on Delicious in Dungeon, Vol 1. It sounds really good and I always like seeing what I can add to my list from your reading. Have a wonderful reading week, Sarah!

Dear Poppy I borrowed from the library. Barnes and Noble sells Delicious in Dungeon. Have a good week.

Awesome painting! I couldn't paint a cloudless blue sky. :)

Holiday Grind and Death by Dumpling look like my kind of books! Happy reading and thanks for visiting my blog today!

I know you're joking but blue skies are tough. There are so many blues and not all them look like skies.

I just finished Holiday Grind and enjoyed it. You could read it as a standalone even though it's part of a series.

Very busy week. I read a lot of books at once too but my finish record is a lot spottier.

Hello Lighthouse's cover catches my eye.

I usually have multiple books going and I do sometimes have weeks where I'm lucky to finish one book. Hello Lighthouse is very good.

I hope to finish Death by Dumpling soon and then decide if I'll order more books in the series.

Of course, I'd gravitate towards Boot & Shoe. ;)

I just finished The Million and it was so good. It wasn't what I expected but it was still a page turner.
