January 2025 Sources: 02/02/25

Previous month's book sources

January I was busy with the West Coast Biennial Juried Art Exhibition: framing, boxing, delivering, and the reception. That plus Salmon, my siamese tuxedo, going missing took a toll on my reading.

ROOB Score for the last three years

In January I read 11 TBR books, down from the previous month's 19 TBR. Three were published in January. Six books were for research. None were reviews. None were from the library. My ROOB score for January was -2.75, up significantly from the previous month's -4.65. It was an average January.

ROOB score mapped year after year to compare trends

I predicted a -2.75 and was correct. For January, I'm going with -3.0 because I'm not pre-buying my new books.

ROOB monthly averages

My average for January improved slightly from -2.43 to -2.45.
