Career Choices: 11/16/05

Last night Sean decided he no longer wants to go to school. He told me, "I'm not going to school any more."

"What are you going to do instead?" I asked.

"I'm going to go to work!"

"You're going to get a job?" I asked.

"Uh-huh," he replied with a big nod.

"What are you going to do for your job?"

Sean grinned. "I'm going to make waffles and funny shaped biscuits. I have everything I need: flour, sugar and baking powder." He paused. "Oh and milk and butter too and eggs."

Don't kids at this age want to run away to join the circus? Mine wants to run away and be a short order cook!
