Oh. It's You.: Love Poems by Cats

Oh. It's You.: Love Poems by Cats by Francesco Marciuliano (2023) is another small collection of cat themed poems that include some colorful portraits of the supposed poets.

This one focuses on how cats show love and how cats see love in their human companions. A lot are food motivated. Some include claws and teeth. Some highlight the fickle nature of cats and their tendency to switch emotions in quick and unexpected ways.

The poems are cute and the book is a cute read but it didn't have me giggling or nodding as much as I Could Pee on This (2012).

Four stars
